Polaris took over Indian

yonks ago. The idea is to tackle Harley from both sides. Victory will be the innovative, modern, better at being a motorbike-than-Harley brand. Indian will be a premium limited production range of top draw cruisers (with a price tag to match, don't bet on much change from £25k) who will bring the "heritage/authenticity/legacy" fight to Harley.

Between Victory, Indian, and KTM, Polaris look to position themselves where Harly tried to when it bought MV and launched the VRod. But whilst the VRod was too Harley for non-hoggers, and too 'new' for traditional hoggers and MV wasn't exactly a choice buy at that time, Ploaris look to have 3 strong and distinct brands that should complement each other well.
