...to ruin your biking pleasure....and cost you a fair bit of money too.I spotted this little b'std in my back tyre this morning at work.Just enough length to go all the way through.Plugged it,but it's still leaking...Luckily I have a part worn BTO14 to put on.:mad:

... Mushroom Plug from the inside of the tyre should sort it. Did that with a puncture in a rear tyre last year and it worked fine for the rest of the tyre's life. :winkie:

Done it mesen was in Stockton up north n got a 3" nail in me bastard rear on me blade took it to a kwickfit  the fella said he could plug it but weren't insured to do the job so I took the wheal out he fixed it I put it back in 20 quid later was on me way to Scotland but that's another story

having a tyre like that repaired, my tyre guy who fits mine said that one of the reasons they wont repair 'performance; tyres is that if you subsequently have an accident,, wether its the tyre at fault or not, the insurer may invalidate your insurance.... and we all know how much they love gettin out of paying!!!  :blink:

..the fitter said he couldn't repair an high performance bike tyre because he wasn't covered by insurance. He fitted the BTO14 for me instead. Not too bad, I had 5,000 miles out of the BTO16.
