Alternative

I just used to have an accidental dirty 'smudge' making my plate impossible to read by camera.  (Just across one corner, obscuring / altering one digit.)

If I had been stopped by the police, I would have pleaded innocence and simply wiped the dirt off!

Fact is,  there is no foolproof way to avoid  all forms of speeding detection, apart from never speeding!

do we recon the pigs could spot the  black box in a roadside spot check?? I gave it some thought and came up with the idea that perhaps one could disguise it as one of those Scotoiler large capacity oil tanks a lot of us fit. You would need to have some strategically placed plastic tubing going from it to the chain guard or whatever but I think it's a possible way of avoiding a fine and points from one of those  those blasted fixed gatso's or maybe even those mobile jobies just so long as they don't have a plod on a bike standing ready like some do these days.
