rev counter

I have a 2007 Suzuki GSX 1400. When I turn the key, the speedo and revcounter needles go to the stop and return. When the engine is running or it's being ridden, the rev counter does not work. Any ideas please.

Welcome Mickael,it`s not a major problem but disconnect the battery and check the connections/block connectors to the tacho, the engine speed sensor may come from the ignition circuit or crank position sensor i don`t know, but the speedo sensor is near the small sprocket which is not your problem.

kcmc or Dabbsy or P,D.J. on here will have more idea.
