Velcro toe sliders

Does anyone know of anywhere that still stocks/sells replacement velcro Gaerne toe sliders at all?

Recently managed to break one of mine by catching it on the sticky out office skirting board, separating the slider from the velcro. I could araldite them back together but I'm not sure if that'll then hold up against any further attacks.

I'm not planning on sliding my toes anytime soon, but I'd rather be safe than stubby.

Boots are Gaerne Stradas handed down by my Dad, so well out of production now. Tried all the usual places but only found some piddly looking ones from "Wix". Figured I'd check her first, see if anyone knows of any backstreet parts dealer before I either araldite or replace entirely.

Alternative

Apart from using superglue, you could adapt your boots to look more fashionable...

I pushed the bike into the office when it snowed heavily and I didn't want to ride home; but no! Haha, I caught it when walking outside to head out for lunch. No idea how.

So I take it no one knows of any velcro toe slider suppliers? D'oh!

I was going to ask about the office, too.

I gave up scraping my toes on the road, although it is fun.  :smile

Almost made a hole in my boots so now I keep my toes off the tamac. I never thought of sliders.

you're a legend, thanks! I'll buy a pair now!

Aesthetically I think I'd prefer to replace both instead of leaving just one on! Cheers.
