ACF50

is the best, you don't need much of it at all so although rather expensive a little goes a long way

ACF50 is really good.

My tin's lasted 3 years, so far. I wouldn't use anything else.

I've not used ACF50

but I've heard nothing but good about it.

I've used Scottoiler 365 and never again! Makes a terrible mess and it actually caused the side plates on what was a perfectly good DID chain to corrode.

ACF50

I used it while in Cornwall, really good stuff I found it better to sray some into a container then brush it on, or spray onto a clean rag use it like you would a polish on paintwork & plastic it stays around longer than WD40. A slight down side is when washing your bike it destroys any soap suds. It's used in the aircraft industry ACF = anti corrosion fluid.

AllYearBiker

Heard of All Year Biker? For £60 they'll completely clean your bike and spray it (properly) with atomised ACF50 so it reaches all the nooks and crannies, protecting it for ~12 months.

Going to try and book mine in soon I think! Up until now I've been using a spray bottle of ACF50 and just spraying a fine coating over the plastics on my bike every now and then when it looks like they dirt is starting to stick again.

Jaffa

As a newbie the grease suggestion was given to me.

As a newbie (Thick 16 year old) I duly smeared over everything except the seat & lights.....

My mum was getting really P*^>sd off when I came for approximately the sixth time Also covered in grease, by this time the lights & seat were covered anyway, my mates were laughing at me 'cos I was hanging off my bike involuntarily,  wobbling round corners hanging off (well, I say "Hanging Off" closer to the truth to say I was just managing to hang ON!). They'd follow me everywhere, not because I was the faster rider but because I was the source of such Amusement! They were on RD125's, DT125's etc, me? I was on a Suzuki B120!!

This, I can assure Anyone is Definately Not Cool!!

L.R: Get the ACF 50!!!!!!

grease

I didn`t have any problems like that back in the early 70s,no grease on the seat, tank, side panels or exhaust. Also no ACF50.

The bikes looked awful until i cleaned/gunked them in the spring. :smile
