Dropped bike

out this morning, lost front end on wet leaves in a car park, only going at walking pace. Very pissed off!

Ah

Hate it when that happens. It's one of the reasons I don't have a bike I like the look of and one which is designed to be dropped.

If anything, every time I drop it, it makes it look better. One of the advantages of a BMW - as part of ownership you're expected to beat them into a more visually appealing shape.

Seriously though, this is why having some protection is worth the cash - it won't save you money (the cost of protection will probably equal the cost of one nasty drop like that) but it'll save you hassle and heartache.

Dropped bike

had it from new 18yrs old, needs a wash, a lot of salt on the roads. Padded trousers and leather jacket so no real damage to me, bit of a headache from lid bouncing on the ground.

left it parked for a few minutes, gone. Valued at less than excess got nothing for it. Police used to phone and ask if I'd found it yet(**no comment about that).

one reason

mine stays in the garage.

Just getting out of the village would be quite a feat.  Farmyard material everywhere, wet, ice and leaves not a good combination:upset:

Glad your ok but I know that feeling look at the damage to your baby:upset:

Done it

myself and you almost feel cheated when you come off at that pace. But any one you can walk away from is a good one. When mine happened, got the bike fixed up and sprayed, parked outside the paper shop and the twatting thing fell of the stand, on the same side:mad:
