New Helmet - Yes or No?

Much as I like being an inconspicuous girly on the bike, I'm seriously considering a new pink,  open face, lid for the summer.

30+ degrees, for months on end, means sweaty helmets and horrible helmet hair.  I feel the need for a change.

I rang my normal dealer, and they've got a pink one in stock, at £12.99.

Should I, or shouldn't I?

Depends

on if it fits!

If not, get a white one and put pink spots / stripes on it.

EDIT: Oooh, drinking, there's an idea.

Especially as the insurance louts won't let me have an RC8R. For less than £1500 a year. They'll let me have a superduke for £600 though. So they'll not let me have the thing I want purely for the torque and for the adjustability rather than the speed but they'll happily let me have the thing that's almost, if not as fast on normal roads but occasionally the brakes suddenly seize, lock up and send you flying in an attempt to murder you.

PS

I won't really buy the one for £12.99.  My mascara is worth more than that!

However, they do do a girly one at a sensible price...

Phil

I like your thinking.  White, and put spots on.

Or, I could put eyes on, and long girly lashes....
(a la Penelope Pitstop)

Note: just googled, and hers is pink!

And there's me

thinking of doing the opposite, my Caberg open face is 4 years old and showing signs of wear & tear. Now you've mentioned the 30+ degrees maybe not full face, the Caberg has a double visor and at £80 4 years ago it may be interesting to see if they still do the same model.

But not in pink

How about

this one Brigette ? the downtown is still in production as well so I may go for another one don't know yet, I get a lot of wind noise when I use the current Caberg on the Triumph plus a draught into my right eye sometimes.
