This is why I wont be taking my grand children on the back until they are at least 15 and old enough to reach the pegs properly:shock:Too much responsibility

Mate takes his kids on the back aged 13 (very small for his age) and 9. He has one of those Love Handles things so they can hold on. He also only tends to go on the deserted back roads.

I'd happily take them on the back of MY bike, but I have a topbox for pillions to lean against.

that made me really angry to see the kid thrown off because his dad gassed it from the lights TWAT.

I've carried my son pillion since he could reach the pegs safely and never had a problem, I used to sit forward against the tank and let him slide down the seat behind me, that stopped him from being forced back down the seat and he was held in place. Don't have that now he's 15 and bigger than me.
