I don't know if this is a novice group, but this Thruxton seems to have no trouble moving up the field and hardly seems to be above tick over.:smile

What a coincidence!

I found that clip at the weekend and watched it in full. The picture quality is great and the bike sounds a treat.

There's something appealling about the Thruxton, I was really quite taken with this one at the NEC :smile

Great rider

Speedo bit erratic?

Amazing how quickly it shot up to 115mph at one point, accelerating fast at the top end for a bike that I thought was more for show than go. How wrong was I.

He's done some good mods for handling and sounds.

That vid will likely sell a lot of Thruxtons. Even got me thinking it might be fun. And that's after having one heap of rattling British junk.

Krispy

Apart from the genuine Triumph silencers,it may be standard internally. It may even be the 865 and not the 790,but those speeds look perfectly normal :smile

Speeds look normal maybe.....

But the way the speedo works would make me 2nd guess the quality of the rest of the bike! Sometimes going up when decelerating and visa versa! Don't think I'd be running the red like that rider is!

Fantastic sound tho and what a great track, complete with a corkscrew copy!

*note to self : GET A GO-PRO CAMERA!*
