Should I bring my bike in from the cold ?

Hi all,

What with weather lately ( -12 last night here ), I was thinking of bringing my Triumph in from the garage and sitting it in the hallway for a week or so until the temperature raises a bit.

Or should I leave it where it is ?. Opinions please ?

Cheers :-)

Unless the garage is particularly damp I don't see the problem with it being cold in there. Quilt covers insulate to keep body heat in so they won't do much for the bike. My bikes have always had to live outside, with no ill effects.

Good point, I hadn't thought of that. Today I picked up an Optimate charger and set it up on the bike. It wasn't that bad in there really. So I'll leave it in there.

I did also worry about dropping it in the ice and snow as I got it in...

Is your bike gold-plated?

Bikes are for riding so pull on your cold weather gear and get out riding! A little snow shouldn't stop ya!...
