Bradley Smith gets premier treatment ahead of Sepang test

Bradley Smith sampled elite level sport of a slightly more sedate pace than MotoGP when he was invited to a special training session with Premier League outfit Everton FC this week. The 22-year-old took time out from his own intensive pre-season preparations ahead of his rookie season in MotoGP to visit Everton’s Finch Farm training ground. Smith, who will partner Cal Crutchlow...

Come on, you're going to be skint before mid season. The only consistency Smith had last year in Moto2, was poor showings at every race, wet, dry or inbetween. You can bang on about that bike, makes no difference, the major shortcoming of that machine was the rider, look at the results and the finishing places, he's not a racer that's willing to give his best, and he will be at the back of the pack on the M1. But you've heard all this from me last year, so not long to wait to see if I'm right or wrong, I'd like to be wrong, but I don't think so.

Rev, fast and smooth he may be, but not on the track lol.

Great article about Rossi's development skills

Great article about Rossi's development skills: It isn't that we don't have confidence in Rossi's feedback," Ciabatti said. "The pressure and the lack of results created a vicious cycle in which he wasn't relaxed enough to completely test the material prepared for him. We simply believe that there is potential and that it wasn't completely explored last year." http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2013/Jan/130117lpksc.htm

It doesn't take a monumental effort to improve on those lowly positions, but it does to get up to the business end, still looking on the bright side his main task is first, to beat his team-mate, sounds like no problem then, lol, another tenner on that then MrKrabs lol.

The kid's barely thrown a leg over, and you guys are already giving him the kiss of death. I'm sure he'll do well if he doesn't rush to get to the pointy end too soon.

He needs to listen more

Bradley apparently thinks he knows better than his crew chief and was making a tit of the bikes set up last year. He was 21st in qualifying at one round, then got he arse kicked bt herve and went out in morning warm up and was second fastest on the teams settings. The talent is there, he just needs to get his ego in check.

Tech3 Dogs?

Since when were Tech3 bikes dogs? If they cut the mustard in MotoGP, - they are going to turn out bikes capable of winning in the support classes. Good luck Bradley lad, your gonna need it.

Tech3 bikes

The Tec3 GP bikes are Yamaha's. The Moto2 bike is their own design (im sure you knew that) The problem with last years bike was it was the same basic bike that they rolled out in 2010 (mistral 610).

In 2010 it was a good bike, in the first half of 2011 it was still pretty decent and Bradley could fight up the top, since then the Kalex and Suter's have moved on. Bradley had no chance last year his bike was just too old and slow, check his practice top speeds, they were nowhere. Tech3 are a great team obviously its just that last year was a bad time to be riding their moto2 effort.

Im sure they will roll out a new bike for Danny kent this year.
