Bradley Smith gets premier treatment ahead of Sepang test

Bradley Smith sampled elite level sport of a slightly more sedate pace than MotoGP when he was invited to a special training session with Premier League outfit Everton FC this week. The 22-year-old took time out from his own intensive pre-season preparations ahead of his rookie season in MotoGP to visit Everton’s Finch Farm training ground. A view sanctioned many times in commentary by Neil Spalding. Competive or not as patriotic fans us Brits should get behind and support our riders

You can bang on about that bike, makes no difference, the major shortcoming of that machine was the rider, look at the results and the finishing places, he's not a racer that's willing to give his best,

Isn't that a little hyocritical when you look at another rider/bike situation where the rider is given the benefit of the doubt.

The Tech3 Moto2 bike was widely acknowledged as lagging too far behind the opposition, so how can you say that the rider didn't give his best. How do you know he didn't achieve all that was possible on that bike. Only the rider knows how hard he rode. He confortably beat his team mate.

Agree 100%, need to get behind the Brits, been a while since we had so many good GP riders, Cal has shown great Speed, Brad has potential, Scott & Danny two massive young talents in Moto2. McPhee embarking on his first full season and finally Webb gets a chance on a decent bike, I don't understand the haters, like an earlier poster made the point with Toseland, why all the hatred and jelousy? Their proud Brits, lets get behind them.

Its not that he

was not trying......shit he was going his fastest, its' the competition that way better than they Brit. You only have to look at the 2009 WSBK season and see what Spies did and what Sykes did on the same bike. Brits and lump of iron go together.

You really are making a cock of yourself, Americas best rider has just spent 2012 making a cock of himself on the M1. You have zero young talent coming through and your domestic series is a joke.

Your just embarrasing yourself, you should learn to ride and give racing a go, Hell, you cant do any worse than Spies

Smith....

Yep, Smith will do well in MotoGp, just give the boy time...Mr Krabs you're right we're currently devoid of any real talent over this side of the Atlantic, hope Ben does well, really surprised at his poor showing last season.  JT had similar problems which led to his demise...Looking forward to a really great season in WSBK also.

Milky... cut the Brit tjhng out it's getting tiresome, and you're embarrassing yourself.

Cheers for now...
