Buying a bike from NI

Hi everyone,

I stay in Scotland and I am thinking of buying a used bike from NI.  It is a 2009 model.  This will be my first bike, and I am unsure what the benefits/negatives would be if I were to go ahead and buy one from NI as oppose to Scotland, England or Wales?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

NI

Thanks for that Jaffa.

Seems straight forward enough.
Is it the case that Bikes registered in NI don't need an MOT until 4 years old, as oppose to 3 in the rest of the UK?
