Hello Jaffa

Carole Nash, with Norwich Union

But! £400 and there isn't a no-claims bonus so you lose whatever you have after 2 years.

Obviously the price is according to your personal circumstances.

Check with Shad, he may know more companies doing this rider policy.

Insurance

I have multi bike insurance policies with each bike covered named on the policy. I've had these types of policies for around 8 years now and it also has third party cover to ride other peoples road legal bikes.

That's it exactly as spondonste says...

And if they're not named on the policy, they must be sorned.

Funnily enough............

Funnily enough, my insurance is up for renewal this month, and I've been asked for £ 540 to renew.  Have contacted Carole Nash, who do offer a rider policy, but unlike the good old days, you must declare every bike on the policy.  I'm waiting for a quote, but will be interested to see what makes it a rider policy!  If you have to list each bike and pay based on all the bikes then surely it's just like any other bike policy?

As for e-bike, I had a look on their site, and wanted to discuss a rider policy.  Tried the Contact us page, customer service telephone line is over £ 1.00 per minute.  Not paying that, so I tried to e-mail them.  To do so you must complete an online quote, then quote the reference number in their contact form (It seems to check for a true quote number!).  I wasted 10 minutes entering details for a single bike quote then tried again to e-mail them- This time the system accepted the quote reference then rejected the attempt to send an e-mail.  Does anyone actually deal with this company?  I've tried a few times and never managed to make contact!

Ride safe,

Shad.

Hey Shad, they're going to stitch you up ...

Whichever way you turn.

They say they need to list all bikes & values in case all your bikes get stolen in one hit.

I have heard this type of policy is being stopped, again!
