When will you be back on two wheels?

Despite a lot of bikers having rode all through the worst of the year's weather, some opted for the car this winter, locking away the bike until spring starts to appear again. But it's almost Febuary and the weather is looking at getting worse instead of better, so a lot of bikes will firmly remain locked away for another few weeks...

When did winter end in Feb ? First day of spring is not until the 21st March ??

And also agree, have not stopped riding would be a good option, or are all MCN readers just fair weather riders ??

....I'm a fair weather rider, due to having a much loved sense of reality and love for my bike.

Why would you want to ride with ice, snow and salt on the roads on your much loved bike?

As i look outside now, there is about 8inches of snow on the road, why the fuck would anyone want to ride a litre sports bike in that?

Only for the seriously derranged amongst us would i think?

The bike is on the driveway,

But the driveway and the Ignition are both Frozen, Thanks to some helpful tips from some nice people on here , I have managed to Thaw the Ignition and just when the Drive starts to clear....down comes the snow again, If anyone could get a Busa accross all the ice the Salted roads then Good on them, Meanwhile I will take the car and remain Frustrated.

When it's dry! cold is no problem, plenty of layers on, but its no fun when you have to take it easy on wet or icy roads.

As soon as..

...the snow & ice has cleared.

The only advantage in having to use the car for a few days is that it reinforces just how poor cars are as a means of transport. Not that there was ever much doubt.
