Is Dovizioso going to humiliate Hayden this year on the Ducati?

Last weekend Ducati unveiled their new MotoGP machine at their now-annual press launch, Vroom. Andrea Dovizioso comes across from the Tech 3 Yamaha team to join Nicky Hayden at the Bologna factory. Dovi is already talking big, claiming that he's the man to do what Valentino Rossi failed to do: fix the Desmocedici. Will he manage to do it, taming the unridable...

Casey

Let's face it, the only way Stoner could get that bike to steer and hit an apex was because he spun the rear and wrapped the back end round the front. It's like a lorry with rear steering axles. Mega to watch. Ducati then made "improvements" and made the front so loose it went under braking so not even Stoner could avoid that. Hopefully Rossi & Burgess have made the right steps and Audi can put their 2 pennies worth into making the bike competitive for 2014 but I don't hold out much hope for this season. It's difficult to think outside the box with stressed member engines etc... Britten got it right but Ducati trellis frames were notoriously good, why leave?

If Dovi isn't a dam sight better than Hayden then it's all over bar the shouting,Ducati should have signed Dovi and Cal,Dovi will be busting his ass and Hayden will be riding round collecting his pension.

Stupid

Humiliate no other Ducati rider except himself sorry but I can't see any other out come,I'd say spies will have him this season.

Upping the bar

Yamaha and Honda will have upped the bar by another couple of notches again next season. And with the last Ducati test being a nightmare when the WSB Aprilia was just as quick as the prototype Ducatis they could be even further back in the field this coming season. Any one riding the Ducati this season is in for a hard long slog.

so much hype

clearly nobodies learnt from a 9 times world champion that all the hype is pointless. I don't see what the hype is for Dovi, people seem to think a 1 time race winner is going to storm Ducati.... He's a regular podium contender, just, but come on he's not a Stoner, or a Rossi, and Rossi couldn't do it... As for humiliating hayden, shut up, talking more and more shit. Feb 5th, then we'll see.

I don't think Hayden is going to do much with the Duc but perhapes the bike suits Dovi, fingers crossed.........    would be good to see him enjoy racing again as the last couple of years he's been a right misrable sod.

Was it 2009/2010??  he was my fav rider and seemed happy just to be at the dance, would be good to see that again.

Do like the Val and hope to see him start winning, he is always good for a laugh.......... you just don't get that with Danny or Jorge
