just , my daughter was looking doubtful going in and Heathrow weren't too happy about letting me back in.

But we made it. I haven't slept since Friday, cat napping where I can but we did all the touristy things and no shopping :-)

Most memorable was Ground Zero and the Helicopter trip across New York, but boy I have never experienced cold like it, -8 plus gale force winds, we couldn't even stand up at one point.

 

Glad I went ? yes.  Would I go again? no.  It was a great weekend but the place is dated and dirty.

Food exceptional, beer rank, but all in all awesome

no not particularly, we had a house in Florida a long time ago so the sunshine state et al is not me.

Two places  on my bucket list left to do, Canada and whale watching and South Africa and then I'm done .:smile
