A great shame.

I've always found his articles and opinions really good. He always seemed to write in such an easy to read, inormative  way. I shall miss looking to see what he makes of all the new models that come out. R.I.P.

R.I.P. Mr Ash

I liked his articles in MCN too. He will be missed. Thoughts are with his family.  :upset:

A good man

And one of the first people to "legally" ? ride a real life Gp bike on the roads back in the early 90s when he worked for the then legendary fast bikes magazine ( oh yes he was part of that motley quick crew )

Very Sad

As others have said he wrote in such an easy to read yet engaging way - even my non-biking friends, and SWMBO "got it" when reading his articles.

condolences to his family and loved ones

Irreplaceable loss

This is the saddest of news.

Kevin Ash is, I guess that's now was, probably the best UK motorcycling journalist there has been for many years.  His passing will leave a hole of insight & expertise I don't see being filled again.

If his family should read this I'd like them to know just how deeply & widely appreciated their fella was.
