What bike floats your boat?

With the new year arriving I'm considering changing some of my bikes (just fancy a bit of a change for some of them). Trouble is I struggling to find a bike I really want to own (either new or old) that I've not already tried in the past.

Either new or old, what bikes float your boat sufficiently that you could really contemplate parting with your own hard earned cash to get?

Fancy something a little bit different.

I'm not especially attracted to any current bike and I'm not sure why that is.

However I saw a Victory Hammer (in torrential rain!) a few months back and I was unexpectedly impressed by its looks.

The Aprilia Falco is a little bit different and has always caught my attention.

Yamaha TRX850 and Ducati 851 also spring to mind.

I've always loved the look of the ZXR400 and wondered if it might be fun to go back down the capacity-ratings to a smaller bike.

If you want to be really different then an old bike which really intrigues me is the Gilera 125CX. Quite rare though.

I'm aware that some of these might disappoint in reality!

Victory

are really quite striking. Too easily written off as Vegas cruisers or Cross-Country tourers; stuff like the Hammer and  Judge really do have the muscle-car/bike aura about them. Not the same performance 'scream' as you get from looking at a sportsbike, but an attitude of power anyway.

Then you have things like the high-ball. A very different type of fun, but fun nevertheless.

I had a dominator

took it out 4 times and all 4 times I came off:shock:

The last time was the most embarrassing as I misjudged a camber and then hit a dustbin lid and landed on my butt.

Bloody stupid place to put a dustbin lid:smile
