Wild guess....

He was unfit, and had a coronary artery plaque waiting to pop. Add a bit of stress, increased blood pressure and heart rate during the robbery and ....pop, heart attack. Should show up on an autopsy.

Also happens during the winter when "at risk" people pop outside for a bit of unaccustomed exercise to clear the drive of snow.

bimmerman...

possibly could be positional asphyxia... if he had a few guys sat on him, holding him down, it can cause restrictions to the lungs, diaphram, and respiritory sytem, and decrease the oxygen content that isi in the body... add this to an under duress person, when the body wants/needs more oxygen, and you can unknowingly suffocate someone without realising it!!

but it could also be one of a nuber of toher things.. but like you say.. an autopsy will sort that out..
