DLA incompetence

... works both ways.

Mate of mine just got a replacement (car) licence and asked me to scan a copy for him. And there on the back of the photocard, as well as the expected cat B, it also says category A, valid from just the other week...

renewal time

when it came to renew mine, i just told them it was lost, sent in new pic and form, 2 weeks later , new one arrives, 2 weeks after that, i cut the corner off the card and counter part, posted all bits back to them, stating, it was the lost licence, ( now found )

Proofreading

... is something I don't do at weekends, oldish ;-)

(Well, OK, got DVLA and DSA confused, knew there was some agency somewhere involved that didn't have a V in it, and disability living allowance probably comes into it somewhere).

I've now got to dissuade him from rushing out to buy an R1 (although as he's 21, the insurance companies will do that better than I ever could.) At least he's done a CBT.
