have you been to Javea seafront recently ? we rode up earlier to go to Scallops new place. I bumped into a guy I met at the matinal there last year and asked him direction, he said "it's the wooden shack kind of place near the mini golf and I bet when you see it you won't bother"

We didn't bother ! and the seafront is still a building site we'll give Javea a miss for a while till it's sorted.

No idea where the mini-golf is!

We found a lovely bar at the opposite end of the beach last time we went  Mediterranean in style, but the guy spoke about 5 languages!

It's a nice day out for us (probably every 2/3 months), and we usually call in Iceland on the way back.

I wish this bl**dy wind would die down. :upset:

It's back again today, trees down in the park and the mountain near Altea is on fire, going nowhere today you can't stand up on the seafront.

Mini golf, about 100 metres directly in from the old Scallops.

the fires on the mountain were started by the wind blowing down power lines, there's a similar problem by the 3 tunnels on the N332 at Calpe. The fires are closer to Calpe than Altea, homes have been evacuated on the Calpe side of the mountain.
