Happy days, popped out for a 2hr blat around the chilterns,swung by the H cafe 30+ bikes there:smile meet the guy that previously owned my new 990 smr :shock:, got him a brew, had a good old chin wag, quick pit stop at gunga's for more brews (cheers m8) back home for beers :smile:smile:smile

my point exactly..........theres you from the south that must be as fit as fuck with all that running around in a shower just to get wet saying i would not go out in such weather (and theres no way your mrs will walk to the shops)..............................and i cant do 10 miles without my bike looking like someone painted the bottom half white and me thinking feck im feckin freezin...............yet you guys manage hundreds of miles with your bikes looking mint in them pics..............just a wee observation:wink:

enough rain to rinse the roads of all salt yet dry enough for a couple of hours of play...............i had it dry enough............just lots of salt n ice and feckin so cold that even with my best kit on and heated grips i had to call it quits within 40 mins:wacko::wink:

Blue sky and sunshine from 9am until 4pm.


Cold wind though but only 4C.

You must live in a terrible place?

Aberdeen is fine.

yes the worst place in the uk at times.............but the gateway to heaven for bikers in better climates...........as for Aberdeen.............the most of the riding done there done in the alleys of cheap strip clubs...........payed in full by the boys working on the Riggs that cant wait till they get home:wink:

The best thing about the old BMW  was riding all winter and never washing it until March every year. I just can't bear to do it with a new bike.

Hopefully I have a 125 arriving next weekend. That will be just the job for commuting for the rest of the winter. :smile
