luckily...

the lights had a fitted plug,so just plugs onto the original in the harness. But the indicators just have one lead and they were not marked up.And there were zero instructions in the box.

just switch the ...

indicators on and see what lights up when you put the wire to the live side and see which side flashes. They flash at double speed (no resistors supplied), but I quite like the sense of urgency it portrays.....or is it panic? Also put the carbon (soft bit of sticky backed plastic) on the top yoke. 10 quid well spent.:smile

Quite a nice tail light/indicator combo you got going there, I think I like it.

Just one thing - when you say they flash at double speed, have you checked that the front indicators are working??

yes they are Dave....

..apparently it's because the circuit thinks a bulb is out so it flashes as a warning. The ones I've seen demo vids for on' t'internet are all from Stateside and they seem to have fittings where they change the original bulbs for leds. A bulb gives far more resistance than led lights. Just fitting an inline resistor should cure it (maybe when the weather gets warmer)
