Passed my test recently and my Dad was concerned that I wore all the right gear. I asked him what he wore back more than a few years ago before he fell of his 500 Norton. "Hmmmm, goggles. And a scarf your mother bought me if it was chilly". Brilliant.

the roads, traffic and bikes were a lot different then too.

It's a shame our roads don't improve with technology as well, went out today in my van and a dual carriage way I was travelling on was utterly disgraceful. Not jus the odd pot hole but massive craters:upset:

try a claim against you local authority, my lad is in the process  in Leyburn after wrecking a tyre and wheel, take photo's for evidence.
