Ben Spies believes Ducati’s new strategy to give full factory machinery to its entire MotoGP line-up in 2013 will be crucial in helping the Italian manufacturer close the gap to Honda and Yamaha. In a bid to develop the Desmosedici at a much faster rate and expand the amount of rider feedback, Spies, Andrea Iannone, Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso will...

Strategy

Is it to keep building crap bikes, not listen to any of the riders and lull Yamaha and Honda into a false sense of security, then in 2020 strike back and take the constructors title???

The sooner

Heir Gobshite and his red brigade get on the grid for the first race, we will then see if their 'leave it as it is', 'suck it and see', cunning strategy will work, either way, we're in for an interesting season.

Ben52, I think Ducati could well take the 2013 destructors title

Ben Spies

Well he would back Ducati's strategy wouldn,t he ?   No pressure on him to get a good result and  if he gets shite results everyone will just blame the Desmo.

YamGT - got a feeling he might already be broke. (seriously I hope not).

the only title that ducati

Will take this year is the crt one. They might as well call it a crt. That way they would have a competitive bike and 4 competitive riders. They might as well be a crt....thats who they will be battling. They would have a pretty good chance at finishing top crt. There problem solved...your welcome gobmier. When ducatis strategy is to field last years bike in the factory team, it seems obvious why rossi left. Lets keep the same bike and put shittier riders on it....that will sove everything! Enjoy the podium again vale....sepang will be much more fun this year....and mugello, and every track

New strategy?

Is this new strategy to throw riders at the bike until one of them can ride the thing, then bad mouth the others and offer them counselling?
