Danny Kent hails James Toseland’s training support

Danny Kent reckons he will be physically and mentally better prepared than at any other time in his racing career after he teamed up with former double World Superbike champion James Toseland for an intensive winter testing schedule. The 19-year-old has paid tribute to Toseland for helping his preparations ahead of his rookie season in the ultra-competitive Moto2 class. Kent and Toseland...

JT is a two times World Superbike Champion, how many of our riders in the last 10 years have achieved that, if you had seen JT perform on the Tenkate Fireblade you wouldn't be asking such a dumb question as that.

lucky...You sure about that Pal?....I certainly wouldn't say beating the likes of Bayliss,Haga,Corser,Biaggi, etc as being lucky, specially as the R1s were the best bikes that season...don't know what your issue is with Toseland but I reckon you could do with a few fitness tips as you look like a sack of spuds on your bike

Training?

At the end of the day this is fitness training not lessons in how to ride a bike... no matter what you thought of his 2 WSBK championships or riding skills he was one of the fittest guys out there & knows what it takes to race at all levels. If Kent sees Toseland as a role model then he'll be more inclined to listen to him & stick to the training regime. Good luck to him!

Best of luck Danny!

I will never understand why James Toseland has so many detractors? The guy was a top quality racer and a deserved 2 time World Superbike Champion! Show some f u c king respect. You don't win championships from luck, certainly not twice.

Not that he has to answer to you leecho but Toseland is in training to run the London Marathon with his brother to raise money for charity, as well as helping a young compatriot in the coming season!

Good luck Danny. I for one will definitely be cheering you on. Having James Toseland supporting can only be good for you.

Toseland

Good to see a majority of the posts are pro Toseland, of course there are bound to be the immature ramblings from the usual keyboard warriors and arm chair riders out there but lets face it, what is there opinion worth??
