My new gloves....

Ive finally got round to replacing my 15 years old gloves, they never really recover from getting soaked when i went to Squires to meet Enfield/Busa.And oh boy did they stink,if you had a time lapse camera on them i'm sure they would move.A bit like "Thing"from the Addams family..Any how nice new Alpine stars gloves...

Nice gloves.

They look very cool.

I am still trying to find a new pair that fit properly. I tried on a pair of those expensive Knox gloves while we were at the NEC. The £160 ones.

Things didn't go quite as planned. When I asked if they had a small pair to try it took a very long time for the nice lady to find the only pair they had in my size. I tried the right hand first. Really, really nice. I wanted them. Then I tried the other hand. I still wanted them, but at that price I knew I couldn't aford them.

Then I tried to take them off. Right hand, no problem. Left hand, no chance. Soon as I tried I dislocated my thumb and middle finger. It is a talent I specialise in. No fun, painful, and in this case a bit of a problem.

So there we are. Me making "help me" eyes at Mr. B. He's making "you're F'ing joking" eyes back and the saleslady, aware something is amiss and by now with a steely glare, is looking around, presumably about to call security.

Anyway, I didn't buy them, even though I thought I was going to have to, and with Mr B's help I was eventually freed, but it was a bit of bad half hour and we avoided going near that stand for the rest of the day.

And I still need some gloves.
