Walking through Bury

yesterday afternoon and came across this old AJS. I didn't really have time to talk to the owner but I managed to get a couple of pics. Apparently the spark plug in it is over 80 years old and rebuildable. It sounded fuckin ace, like a very loud, clean sounding cement mixer but in a good way.
Enjoy.

Nice -

Entus  that AJS is pure class. "Biking through time" has come along way. I posted this a while back but its worth reposting - bad ass and 97 years old!

Beautiful, that old AJ'  My old Velocette Venom used to have a spark plug that you could strip down and clean. Made by Lodge, if I remember right..  :smile

bet it shakes like a shitting dog when on the move, they look nice but thats about it, once they start, if they start that is, the illusions are soon shattered, especially if you have a beautiful light coloured drive way for the oil to drip and blacken.
