Valentino Rossi shines on factory Yamaha return

Valentino Rossi made a brilliant return to Yamaha’s factory MotoGP squad in Malaysia today, the nine-times world champion ending the first day of 2013 pre-season testing with the fourth quickest time. Rossi showed a disastrous two-year spell with Ducati has not blunted his confidence or skills and the 33-year-old topped the timesheets for a period in the early part of the...

I've been waiting for that

Nostro - a reasoned debate from you - I knew you could do it !

I know about the Kiwi/Aussi thing I worked with a lovely Kiwi girl a while ago and got some background into the rivalry - especially the accent - nothing worse than mistaking the Kiwi accent for and Aussi one eh ?

I see you still refuse to see Rossi as an alien - I think being only 0.4 off 0.5 at this stage puts him firmly back. After being becalmed for 2 years it will take a little time to fully regain confidence. After all Rossi usually races better than he qualifies anyway.  Marquez is obviously another special talent.

Seems like there was rain halfway through. These were the same results with about 4 hours to go, if I recall coreectly. Spies' shoulder is hurting a lot, so does the fact he's on that POS Ducati. Marquez is extremely impressive so far, a quarter second in front of Rossi is no small feat.

stoner is indeed retired saturn

So why are you bringing him up?.

The ducati gp10, gp11 and gp12 were all awful bikes.

Rossi doing well on a yamaha in 2013 as was always likely before or after the sepang test will prove nothing about stoner though; it won't prove much about rossi either, he is and always will be a very great rider.

Haha..Touche doohanfan.

I don't think anyone mentioned it about Qatar, apart from your good self of course?..and tbh, how could the claim possibly hold water there when the riders were faster AFTER the down pour?

Don't blame you for trying though. Better luck next time.

Is anybody out there?

Where are all this Ducati lovers - Rossi haters?

Where is Dovizioso, the developer king, wanna be an alien too?

Where are you? Yuhu? I guess you all have developed a sudden lactose intolerance eh?

Perhaps you should quit this blog before is too late, there is rain comming on you loosers... Why don't you start talking about V8's or carbon fiber / trellis fishing canes? Imagine:

Stoner was the only fisherman capable to catch the canibal traut from down under... the other aborigines couldn't understand the "feeling" of the new rod and they complained about chattering... I knew Rossi could not fish like me, why people still like him? My cane is bigger than his...

stoner is indeed retired saturn   So why are you bringing him up?.

I vowed not to mention him again earlier in the New Year as any reference to him is irrelevant in 2013. However others continually bring him up  to compare his wins, losses, records, crashes etc.. in order to put down the yellow peril. I try to ignore it but sometimes get chivvied into some sort of response   However once the first flag of 2013 drops I will be focussed 100 percent on this years championship.   My post was in reply to Nostro who had already mentioned Stoner and Rossi.    Since then Nostro posted me a nice balanced reply. we're quits.

Obviously Nostro

Stoner jumped on a well sorted bike and wether it was his fault or Ducati's, it turned to shit slowly over the years.  and Rossi did no good on a shit bike and development went no better for him.

All i'm saying is you cant have it all your own way.  Stoner didn't progress in development on it either

Woopy doo Stoner one a few races in his last season on it and Rossi not even one win on it.  We know you dont like Rossi fans but we not all twats.

And yes life umpa lumpa land is bliss, or should i say will be again soon :)
