Is this a new

drinking thread

Perfectly distilled water in a perfectly sterile container does not conduct electricity. The impurities in the water provide the valence electrons through which the current flows......so they say

gunger, why do you have dry ice in your freezer?

Blader, more bad news, you should only use distilled water to flush out the system before re-filling.

It's not about boiling water and cooling it in another pot, mate.   It's about boiling water and condensing the steam produced into another clean container.

im aware you collect the steam then condense it back into a sterile container... might have a go at it just for the hell of it.. give me something to stop me gettin bored!! :lol:

Sounds a bit steep to me,

where you buying it? I've not bought any for a bit, can't remember how much I paid for the smaller quantities, but did get 25 litres for £7 a few years back from a battery supplier, wholesale places and agricultural suppliers, lorry and tractor dealers probably a good bet, big batteries and large cooling systems to fill up.

just

get a reverse osmosis membrane and set up and a good pump

that will take your condi down from 500us/cm approx to about 15us/cm and remove about 80/90% of all minerals and contaminates

jaffa...

whilst i dont know your knowledge or experience... according to Mr Haynes and Mr Honda... the coolant should contain 50/50 distilled water and coolant/antifreeze.... says that the sysem can be flushed with clean tap water and a flushing agent..
