Rossi and Lorenzo eager for Yamaha gearbox upgrade

Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo have made it clear to Yamaha that a seamless shift gearbox could drastically help improve acceleration issues with the new 2013 factory YZR-M1. A new gearbox was high on reigning world champion Lorenzo’s wish list for 2013, but the seamless shift system already employed by Honda and Ducati is not yet available. And both Rossi and Lorenzo...

I'm with you on Laverty - take out the two test riders and he's 13th only 2/10ths down on Espargaro. Birdy must be eurphoric.   Bradley too 8th in front on all the Ducatis no mean feat for someone who many considered to be unworthy of the ride (at one time me as well)  glad he proved me wrong.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Laverty - if the PBM developed chassis doesn't perform when it eventually arrives, I wonder if he will switch and give Laverty the full ART bike that he's seemingly doing very well on?

to the distant planet..

hes still behind the top dogs, and hes on the championship winning bike from last, it would be beyond pathetic if he wasnt in the top four. Mind you, remember our friend Spies on the Yam? near the front in testing and that was as close as he got to the sharp throughout the year...?

Live in the Past... or the Present.

When mentioning a certain rider`s track record while commenting his poor performance in the 2011-2012 seasons, we where told to shut the f* up, as that was all in the past. 2013 is where it`s at now, and the rider who had supposedly outlived his alien status, or had less skill than ambition, is again mixing it at the front of the grid. The other dude has packed & gone away. Methinks the shoe is on the other foot now.

The shack in question

Is here. Can't say I'm a big fan of the Gold Coast in general, but two hours in a decent boat will get you to some nice offshore fishing spots.
