Yamaha boss: No question Rossi will be competitive in 2013

Valentino Rossi’s impressive return to Yamaha’s factory YZR-M1 in Malaysia last week is proof that the Italian will be a major force again in the MotoGP world championship. That's the view of Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis after Rossi buried his own personal doubts about his potential folliowing a nightmare two-year spell with Ducati when he set the third fastest time during...

Ha R U sure Mr Jarvis?

According to one our regular experts he will be a mid packer like last season. The competition is now at a new level and beyond Vale's capabilities.

Is he 'biggin' up Vale or the fact that he's aboard a factory M1?

Huligan, don't be daft,

mid-packer? Anyone who knows 'bike racing knows that Rossi will have a major say in who wins the 2013 championship. He might be in the Autumn of his career, but podiums are a given and probably 2 or 3 wins. If Biagi can win a very competiive WSBk chapionship at 41, then it wuld be MUG who wrote of Vale as an also ran. One thing is for sure ,though, we are in for some real good racing....especialy if Yamaha have found something to counter HRC's obvious domination of the last 7 races last year.

....I dont think Vale needs 'bigging up', people very easily put to one side when passing comments on these forums, that we are talking about one of the worlds greatest motorcycle riders, a natural like Rooney is to football. Having moved back to Yam, he was always going to be in the mix this year. This is about being polite and trying to keep low key, avoiding ruffling up feathers and getting his arse quietly back on a bike that will bag him 2 more championships and thus become the all time moto gp king. Reference yourselves back to Barcelona 09, its on youtube if you like, Rossi has lost nothing from that era and Lorenzo hasnt moved on a great deal, so draw your own conclusions. I for one have been waiting for this, Rossi is very very fast and it would be no surprise at all if he won it this year. The one to watch though is Pedrosa. He is young and would have learned a great deal from last year especially the strength of mind aspect, competing with Lorenzo throughout. Marquez will be fast, he has the ability and confidence to get to grips with the Honda and moto gp racing but his lack of experience will be evident which is where he will lose ground. 2013 1st Rossi 2nd Pedrosa 3rd Lorenzo - Lets hope This is a great year of racing.

No Pacey..

He's looking through BOTH eyes clearly..judgement based on what he saw recently at the test and years of experience in the paddock working close to Rossi.

He ain't no fanboy with a twisted agenda..who's missing Whodjameflip and looking at things all blurry-eyed through streams of tears.

Change that Avatar and tag mate...what about Sore Botty Fountain Face with a picture of a spanked red arse?

Been getting all nostalgic Wosi?

Sounds like you've been going through your secondary school year books. I bet it hurt when the acne ridden girl with braces you had a crush on wrote that about you.
