Saw it Simon

on the local BBC news for the area, it is very sad. We used to go to Port Isaac Regularly it's where they film Doc Martin, a very close knit village as they all are in Cornwall and it's hit them hard. Bugger of a place in the summer mind you I used to deliver hire cars there in the summer and many a time been stuck on that there bleddy hill.

I do believe all the singers are local and mostly fishermen or in some fishing related occupation. When you think of the hazards of fishing and they lose two in that circumstance it seems so unfair.

RIP both of the Fishermens Friends.

Edit: here you are Si, Port Isaac in the summer don't drive or ride in there park up the top carpark and walk down to the quay much easier and less swearing.

Polruan

That vid reminded me of Polruan.  A mate had a place there, right next to the harbour.

Parking at the top of the hill, then carry everything down.  Thankfully, I was on my bike, and managed to squeeze it next to the front door!
