Found a picture

from Motorcycle Live 2012 of a Goldwing with a sidecar. Well, I say that, but it was more like a family hatchback.

Will have to post it when I get home!

it's bigger than a family saloon, begs the question --- WHY ?

Haha

Pretty much! Can't quite understand how anyone who wants to ride a motorcycle could turn to something like that and go "Yep. This is good."

Vulcan - not quite, the one at MCLive had the sidecar on the left and was a horrible cream colour. Eww.

Goldwing + sidecars

..have to agree - don't really get it ...would probably be better off with an open-top car..at least you can put the top up when it rains.

I don't get the Goldwing thing

saw this in Plymouth a few years ago where we met up with richnotrich when he was surveyor57. Why ? why the huge trailer and great big alloy shelf, If you're biking to a camp site to camp a tent and some camping gear does it or it did for us when we did it, Anything over and above that get a camper van ffs. The Goldwing club camped near us in Cornwall one year, a tent for themselves and one for the bike, I've not seen so much kit come off one bike and trailer.

Camping with a goldwing?

Might as well just get a tarp and pull it over the top, comfortable seat for the night, none of this lying down malarky!
