make more trail/enduro bikes

thats what we want according to stats, sales are up 29.9 % it seems to be the only sector that is growing, i think part of the reason for this is new bikers getting chinese style tail bikes and bikers returning not wanting a full sports or heavy adventure bike.

Perhaps

Maybe bike sales are down because it has been snowing so much the last few weeks? Next to nobody will buy a bike when there is snow actually on the roads (unless maybe it's a race bike or similar for the coming season).

Er......... I did  :smile  and it's been in my gagage pretty much ever since waiting for some better weather.  Four weeks old with 98 miles on it.  That'll teach me!

Point taken

That's why I used the expression 'next to nobody' rather than simply 'nobody'. There will always be die hards that consider winter a good time to buy a bike (I bought my husky supermoto last year when it was snowing and rode it back from london with snow and slush on the road, but then I'm a bit of a daft sod in that respect - 'twas fun though:biggrin:).

The bulk of bike sales however occur when the weathers fairly decent and that's not often in the winter months

all to do with the price!

got a £2500 discount on my Daytona, mostly due to the new model coming out, but buying in November paid a large factor as well!
