Mac stuff is the dogs

But where's the bloody delete button? And I still don't know how to post links on it. I have to flash-up the old pc to do that.

The Mac is great for uploading from my Go-Pro. Plug in and watch with no daft conversion software to have to use ala PC and no jerkyness.

Shame the footage is all too incriminating to put on YT.:ph43r:

Using a computer

is...very much like making love to a beautiful woman.

First you have to...put her on your lap and turn her on; next you open her drawers and insert your disc. Take care here to blow into her vents to remove any cobwebs or dust, and then tap away at her keys until you complete your task.

I got

a MacBook Air a while back and whilst it has some oddities, the operating system is great and the design is brilliant. Of course it's a lot of money and if it doesn't last a good 5-10 years I'll be very, very annoyed.

I really like that they're pushing PCs along in resolution. Since this HD crap came out PC monitor and laptop resolutions have gone backwards on the grounds that they can call it "HD ready".

We had monitors at HD resolution literally decades ago and they went back to those crap resolutions and no one said anything. Even 1080p is far lower than the standard equivalent PC resolution but now monitors don't come in 1920x1200, no it's 1920x1080 - dropping quality just so they can say it's "1080p". And the P means fuck all as well - just says it can run at 60 frames per second. Yes? And? Some PC monitors run at 120Hz. Most of them would if it wasn't for that little fucking bastarding "p".

I HATE MARKETING BULLSHIT.

1080p

The 'p' actually stands for 'progressive'. It describes a technique used to display pictures; the alternative is 1080i (or interlaced).

Mac

Got a Mac-pro myself, haven't had much trouble with it in a number of years now.  Good machine.  Bit pricey, though.
