Coolio

the weather was warmer here too, had a blast over to Oxfords BMW dealer with gunga (dropping off his S1000 for a service) and a quick blast back.

Most of the roads were dry if not a bit salty, bring on the summer :smile:smile:smile

Twinkle

Bloody hope so! get it serviced Monday (hopefully) and then another 1000rpm each 100 miles to play with. can't wait!,

 whats up with yours?

@ Preunit

i'd be interested how much Gunga paid for his service?

My Mate took his s1000rr to Costwolds in gloucester for a "minor" service. it cost him £300.

Nowt up with it - just needs tax ..we decided sorn both bikes and re-tax them in March. I suppose I could always tax it again ...but would it be worth it for probably only one ride (if lucky) before March? - unlikely. So I have kind of decided to wait till March.:winkie:.......Cue two weeks of glorious weather ! Lol!

Fair enough Kamchat

and if you taxed it now, it would go back to the start of Febuary:wacko:

it was my intention to SORN the R1 until march, but ended up part-exing it. not sure i'll run the daytona next winter, but will likely keep it road ready just in case.

6 and a bit quid a month. Well worth it even for just a couple of rides.

Aye, the tax ran out at the start of Feb ....and I thought 'what's the chance of nice weather in Feb !?' - slim! Leave it till March  Lol!..So you probably have me to thank for the nice spell we are having this weekend.
