Meet my new bike

I've still got Goldie the Gixxer, the new arrival is a second bike for relaxed rides on sunny days :sunglasses:

I've always fancied getting one of these, so when a good deal came along I decided to go for it...

I know it won't be to everyone's taste, so just remember the old saying - if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! :winkie:

Thanks for the info. It's certainly no firecracker as standard and a 1200 would have been my preference, but I'll see how I get on with it over the summer.

Yeah that's quite a smart looking bike and 17L is a lot more useful...

I like this bike with the raised bars and shorty front mudguard, but the tank is only 7.9L. Are they trying to make life hard for their customers??

Hi Dave

Good to see you (and the rest of the Scottie Crew) at Breakie.....

Gave us a surprise turning up on the Harley :smile..it does look mint.:winkie: I know you have always fancied a Harley and it's good to see you finally got one.

I could never have one as an only bike ...but like you I would happily have one as a second bike ..as an alltogether different experience from the Gixxer.

Some of the pics from Spoons this morning.

Dave arrives giving us a surprise...

He's smiling under that helmet.. (I think you are going to have to get one of those chrome WW2 German helmets now:tongue:)

Good pics

John, (although I spoil the view!) some nice angles there.

I think there should be some of you and Sarah trying it out for size too.... :winkie:

Ps. As we were getting ready to leave Graeme drove in, he'd called us but it was around the time we we were all outside and probably revving the Harley, hence we didn't hear the calls... And then just after Graeme arrived Torpedo John pulled in with one of his mates!

Great to see everyone

again today on this gloriously sunny Sunday

I managed a run with both bike and car today and also bumped into Stuart out on his CBR.

Bikes and car now washed and salt free :winkie:

The new bike's a cracker Dave and I wish you many happy miles with it

John and Sarah - hope you both had a good cycle :smile
