Meet my new bike

I've still got Goldie the Gixxer, the new arrival is a second bike for relaxed rides on sunny days :sunglasses:

I've always fancied getting one of these, so when a good deal came along I decided to go for it...

I know it won't be to everyone's taste, so just remember the old saying - if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! :winkie:

Thanks again for the info, you clearly know a bit about this subject :winkie:

Oldish  Thanks for the clip, I'll look forward to watching it in full later. And yes, I do believe these bikes and associated culture can attract some undesirable fellows :winkie:

I like the picture from the Stables, it looks like a good spot to rest and recover from your exertions!

You might be right about spring; there's a difference in the light these days and some warmth from the sun, so here's hoping for an early start to the good weather...

Plus it's not just an old wives tale when they say a Harley spotted outside Spoons in February is the sign of a long hot summer :winkie:

'Old wives tale'

Lol! ..are you sure that is not more akin to the old saying - 'One Ducati doesn't make a summer'.

I had mine converted.

I don't now what year yours is, but I'm fairly sure it needs to be 2000 or older to make it worth doing.(2000 is the last year they came without all the emissions gubbins on). Then change the gearing. I used the bigger front pulley from a Buell. Less vibration and enough acceleration to make sports bike riders wonder why you're still in their mirrors, laughing at them.

it's....

nearly new beelady, so he'll have to be content to potter along...which I think is the plan anyway.
