Honda open to Casey Stoner wild card deal in 2013

Honda has said it would give serious consideration to offering Casey Stoner the opportunity to step out of retirement and race in at least two MotoGP rounds in 2013. There has been speculation that Stoner could ride a factory Honda RC213V machine in a bid to extend his phenomenal winning record on home soil at Phillip Island, while also taking part...

I personally like watching both riders race and have no intrest in the arguement about spellong. Here children are the facts.Casey's history riding internationally in the moto gp paddock in all classes since 2003. 2003 8th 125's. 2004 5th 125's. 2006 2nd 250's (could have won except he crashed at phillip island). 2006 8th moto gp. 2007 world champion moto gp. 2008 2nd moto gp. 2009 4th moto gp. 2010 4th moto gp. 2011 world champion moto gp. 2012 3rd. Thats pretty bloody good going. Valentino Rossi over the same time period 2003 world champion moto gp. 2004 world champion moto gp. 2005 world champion moto gp. 2006 2nd moto gp. 2007 3rd moto gp. 2008 world champion moto gp. 2009 world campion moto gp. 2010 3rd moto gp. 2011 7th. 2012 6th moto gp. Of course valentino started 125 racing in 1996 coming 9th in his first season but 125 world champion in 97.In 98 he moved to 250's and came second in the championship and then became world 250 champion in 1999. 2000 saw him move to the 500 cc class were he came second and then world champion in 2001. And so the modern era began of moto gp in 2002 with the 990 cc bikes and you guessed it 2002 world champion was rossi. The ducati is obviously a pig to ride and Casey could ride it, but so could Troy Bayliss if i remember, as he had a wildcard ride at valencia in 2006 and won the race. I still say wild card rides go to sattelite teams and riders on sattelite bikes are given a chance to shine on a full factory bike. Here endeth the lesson. Amen
