Winger..

...Rossi wont be happy just to be on a decent bike....not if he's being beaten by Lorenzo every week.

Despite all of the recent adulation towards Lorenzo, Rossi will throw everything he has in his arsenal to win the championship...beit trackcraft or mindgames......He may smile and make the right noises, but 2nd best Yamaha will not satisfy him....

Hell yes.

He will win. Of course. Unless... The "mystery of Ben Spies" still haunting that bike. Spies doing good on preseason test, then on race, there is always major/minor mistake. I hope not this year. Valentino must know what went wrong if it happen again. But yes, he will win. Been a fans since he was on 125cc, never at once I saw a Valentino give up.

How can you write him off! Multiple world champion in 125 250 500 and moto gp titles and only 34. If hes fit and well he has every chance but there is lorenzo and pedrosa of course but dani hasnt shown real consistency that jorge has. If yamaha give tech 3 some proper support then i think cal will be up in there. 9 world titles dont go to someone whos a bit meh! I still think Bradl could come good this year, he is very smooth and was alsao a world champion so who knows, but certainly dont write off Rossi not yet, maybe when he is forty and winning his third world superbike title???!!!??

rossi has every chance

if yamaha give him an equal bike, which has not necessarily always been their practice.

Bang on seamon, ask any rider, they'd take a couple of wins on the duke over a WC on any other brand... Should read any stoner fan and casey himself think a win on the duke is the equal of a title on any other bike. The sooner casey is given the credit a factory number one rider deserves and gets royally hammered for taken Ducati from title favourites to laughing stock the sooner the v8 forums will lose credibility...

yes hugelean

1 ducati world title, 16 yamaha world titles, 15 honda world titles, 6 suzuki world titles ffs. It is very much in  the natural order of things for ducati to always be the title favourite.

Given the choice of a few race wins for ducati or a title with honda or yamaha, everyone including stoner would obviously chose the title as you say though.  Notwithstanding this, he may still have stuck with ducati if they had stuck by him.

Absolutely,no one disputes his fantastic track record, but their have been plenty of great sportsmen along  the way try to fight father time unsuccesfully, he'll be another, yea sure he'll get a few decent results along the way to give the fans something to cheer about, but he's on the slippery slope that all 30 years old go down.
