I have the singles, the 12" singles, the albumns and more recently the CD's. and is on the ipod and used on the bike regularly.

Bought a cassette at one of their gigs in what must have been 83 or 84, Put it on in the then girlfriends car one night, 30 secs later she had wound down the window ejected the cassette and lobbed it out onto the A31 ringwood bypass.

Several years later I came home from a tour of duty a few days earlier than expected found her ironing and listening to them, as it reminded her of me....Ah sweeeet!

Of course

when Mr Cameron says he likes the Smiths, Mr Marr or Mr Morrissey could just just ignore him. But they choose to make a big deal of it and go on the BBC to do so. No such thing as bad publicity eh?

Typical "stars".

"Pretentious moi"? Laughable.
