Anti-fog visors?

Well.... I'm impressed!

I bought a new AGV Skyline at the London bike show sunday.. "it has an anti-fog visor" the guy said... Right-ho!! I've never had a visor that doesn't fog up...

Well I have now... And it's f*cking awesome, this morning it was rainy and cold at 5am but the visor was clear, I even tried to fog it up by coughing and heavy breathing.... Nothing!

Well happy, So how do they work? Is it the visor material, or some kind of shield sprayed/stuck on? ..Will it last some time/forever do you think??

Happy days tho!!    :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Anti-Fog lens material........

was available in industrial safety goggles back in the mid 90's.

Must have been some good reason why it wasn't used for motorcycle helmets. I did ask.

Anti-fog.

jon66 may be right. Aren't all new visors naturally fog-resistant because they are spotlessly clean and unblemished?

That AGV has a prominent breath deflector, and also quite a deep chin. I wonder if the latter helps somehow.

Must admit

the anti fog on mine does wear off after 6 months r so.

Best lid I had to deal with this problem was an old Lazer one which came pre fitted with Pinlock.
