Lap Phillip Island with Jonathan Rea

Ahead of the opening round of the 2013 World Superbike Championship this weekend at Phillip Island, a number of top teams have been testing at the Australian circuit. Check out this guide to a fast lap around the seaside circuit with Northern Irishman Jonathan Rea on his Pata Honda.

Absolutely brilliant Jonny, had no idea it was so physical, you seem to spend more time off the bike than on. Best wishes to you and teamate Leon and to all the Brits for the 2013 season.

Why Rea....???

Surely one would like to stay on board and make it back around to the finish line in one piece!

Top bloke

And hoping Honda do well this year. Need the backing of HRC to make a competitive bike so the lads (Rea & Haslam) don't have to over ride it and end up in the gravel. What we do need is a V4 Blade :0)

Silverstone cancelled?

If the rumor mill is true they are dropping the Silverstone round in favour of Istanbul, so no cheering on half the top twelve at their home round. Fucking genius

Front camera please!

I'm sure it would be a fantastic lap to watch if we didn't have to stare at his arse for nearly 2 minutes!
