That bike looks like fun.

A lot of fun, not for me but I'm sure enough people will hand over their hard earned cash. Good on you Ducati like other European companies, without this steady flow of new machines, biking would be a little bit boring. What's happened to the Japanese?

Motard v Streetfighter

The Ducati Hypermotard and Ducati Streetfighter apear similar in concept but the later bike has the 1098/1198 sportsbike engine. I know it's a few grand more but is the new hypermotard straying in to the streetfighters teritory and how different are they??

I had a 796 Hypermotard and it was brilliant! Can't wait for a test ride on one of these:)

Great bikes, great vision, but you have to be very careful criticising the Japanese companies on here, EVERY bike that Ducati release gets slated by the Yamakawasuki parade, a very sensitive bunch of muppets

the japanese dont seem to want to create anything new or different, just play it safe constantly

which is a shame because if they followed the europeans examples we could have some new interesting bikes that you could actually use at more reasonable prics

More money than sense..

Spend £4k on a secondhand KTM950SM with carbs..then some of the money you save on intake mods & 'povics.

A future classic. No big residual losses - you'll be 10 grand better off over the same 2 years of Ducati ownership - Job done.
