Hi folks ive just noticed the rear shock on my rf600 is leaking oil(quite a bit) obviously not going to ride it much ,but ive been looking on the net and am staggerd that i can only find hagon rear shocks for this at an eye watering £300!!!(bike only worth £900) where am i going wrong are ther any alternatives or is a case of stump up or just get rid of bike, any advic eis appreciated.:wacko:

Wilbers offer an Eco-line shock for 349 euros. part number 530-0116-00, that's 270 quid plus post on Ebay Germany.

Unlikely you'll get anything cheaper.

I had a Hagon fitted to my VFR800.  It was a well made bit of kit that transformed the handling of the bike.  They vare rebuidable too.  Well worth the money.

Other than that your only choice is to take a chance on a used unit from a brakers but any part of that age is unlikely to be in good serviceable condition.
