$2.25 for a lime? Where's Brutale...

Hey Brut,

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-21519050

You lot still getting scurvy down under? What's the big deal about limes?

Seri-arse now, is this just media b/s or has your cost of living really rocketed?

Anybody mulling a move to the Sun?

Never seen them that price here?

but hey it's a very big country, just been in Coles(local super market here) the limes are 50cents each, but not a lot of people buy them as most have a lemon and lime tree which seem to produce fruit summer and winter,i just pick one off a tree over hanging out of someones garden or a mate up the road has two trees with fruit on year round,so i don't buy them either:huh:.Same as rosemary, grows wild everywhere,so why buy it when you can just pick it for free, and fennel, just had two months of peaches and apricots,(still some around) next will be oranges of all shapes and seizes, but not complaining or anything but it was pleasant to have a full day of rain yesterday, first we've seen in three and a bit months:shock:unlike some of the rest of the country:sunglasses:but as i said,it's a big country whats happening up the top in the tropics doesn't often effect us down here,we tend to get our weather from over Perth(W.A.) and the deserts in summer and the southern ocean in winter .
