Looks Good

Looks like it could be a great fun bike for green laning and should supply the grin factor.

Good luck to CCM/

8K a tad steep me thinks.

Buy this before moving up to a BMW1200GS?  If I was going round the world, this is the sort of bike I would buy and not a bloody great barge like a BM! With all the accessories, it should easily be up to the job and a lot easier to pull out of ditches or pick up after the inevitable crash. However, as already pointed out, you would need a good sponsor at this price, probably due to this bike not being built by one of the mass-producers, so a bit more of a hand-built job.

Offroad = buy a KTM

Touring (which is what the R1200GS is used for), buy a GSX1250FA with full luggage and sat nav and change to spare from your £8K. Sorry, sometimes a niche exists because it doesn't make sense to fill it.

It may seem expensive, but the new Kawasaki ZX6 is £10,000.
